INTERNATIONAL DANCE
- Section representing the folkloric dance specific to each nationality. The choreography, music and costumes must reflect the folklore tradition of the country, of the nationalities that they present in the competition.
- EXAMPLE: Spanish dance (flamenco, bolero), Arabic dance, Gypsy dance, Russian dance, Greek dance, Indian dance, etc.
- CAREFUL! Modernized styles stylized and adapted to the folklore of a nationality do not belong to this section, but to ShowDance (EXAMPLE: Bollywood)
cheerleader
- TRADITIONAL CHEERLEADERS
- A section that can be practiced individually (solo), in pairs (duo), in a group or in a formation, led by a leader, called the captain, the accessories being pom-ponies or the stick.
- The choreographies can be represented by marching parades with the baton or pom-ponies or stage rehearsal also with the baton or pom-ponies.
- The choreographies must be dynamic and based on the march step combined with other figures or dance steps characteristic of other dance styles, static elements, surprise elements (EXAMPLE: formation waves).
- CHEERLEAD TWIRLING BAR
- Section that can be practiced individually (solo), duo, trio, in a group or in a formation, the dance accessory being the twirling bar (you can work with 1, 2 or 3 sticks simultaneously).
- The music used in the competition is the choreographer's free choice, without compositional restrictions.
- The choreography combines steps and dance movements with elements of acrobatic gymnastics and the constant handling of the bar.
- CHEERLEADING
- Section that is practiced in groups or teams with a large number of members, the accessories being: pom-ponies, flags, banners, mascots.
- The music used in the competition is the choreographer's free choice, without compositional restrictions.
- The choreography combines steps and dance movements with elements of acrobatic gymnastics, pyramids or acrobatic throws of one or more teammates simultaneously (cheer stunts).
Thematic DANCE / modern dance
- Thematic DANCE
- Section in which the choreography must highlight a clear theme through: costumes, music, props or scenography. Costumes and music are the most basic elements of this section, not having a story. The theme is represented strictly through costumes and music, so that the audience and the jurors can easily discover the idea of the choreography.
- EXAMPLE: Butterfly Dance (obvious costumes)

- EXAMPLE: disco, boogie-woogie, rock&roll, country dance, swing, twist, Charleston, reggaeton, etc.
- CAREFUL! Within these sections, no more than 6 acrobatic elements must be exceeded.
musical / choreographic fantasy
- musical
- Section that represents the genre of Broadway shows, cabaret, jazz, music-hall, all the styles existing in revue theaters or choreographies inspired by established films that combine music, dialogue, theater and dance.
- Acrobatic elements are prohibited. The exception is the dance called Can-Can, in which wheels, twine, strings, etc. are allowed.
- choreographic fantasy
- Section in which the choreography must present a story with a narrative thread: beginning, plot, unfolding of the action and ending and clearly outlined characters based on the story.
- Scenographic objects and props are allowed.
- The music and costumes must highlight the clear theme of the choreography.
- Acrobatic elements are allowed (maximum 6 elements), but only to highlight the outline idea, without exaggerating. Exceeding the required number of these elements leads to a penalty and a decrease in the score.
open
- The section in which the choreographic pieces cannot fit into one of the other sections, being designed in an original choreographic language or based on mixed techniques.
SHOWDANCE
- Section that allows the fusion of several choreographic styles or languages, the existence of acrobatic elements and elements of props and scenography to highlight and outline the show.
- Choreographies must be dynamic, complex through varied steps and movements, without too many repetitions, through changes and drawing of the formation, dynamic, with engaging music, which highlights and correlates the montage of the choreography.
- CAREFUL! The acrobatic elements must not exceed 6 in number. These are used to increase the atmosphere of the show, without exaggerating with their repetition.
